GreenTech Metals Hits Copper at Western Australia Project; Shares Surge 22%

GreenTech Metals (ASX:GRE) hit copper from a recent 1,710-meter reverse circulation program at the Whundo copper project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling at the Austin and Ayshia areas yielded up to 3 meters at 3.1% copper, 2.6% zinc, and 0.2 grams per tonne grade of gold from 243.6 meters, the filing said.

Shares of Greentech Metals surged past 22% in recent Thursday trade.
