Gryphon Digital Mining (GRYP) said Thursday that Steve Gutterman has been named chief executive officer and Jimmy Vaiopoulos has been appointed chair of the board.
Gutterman, who served as a member of Gryphon's board and chair of the audit committee, succeeds Rob Chang, who remains on the board as a director, the company said.
Vaiopoulos, chief financial officer and co-founder of Stack Capital, succeeds Brittany Kaiser, who remains on the board as a director, Gryphon said.
Gryphon's shares were up more than 10% in recent trading.
