** Space exploration company Intuitive Machine shares

rise 42.8% to $7.75 in pre-market trading

** Company bagged a navigation and communication services contract of up to $4.82 bln from NASA

** LUNR will deploy lunar relay satellites and provide communication and navigation services to aid NASA's Artemis campaign

** As part of contract, LUNR will also debut its lunar satellite constellations, which will enable enhanced data and transmission services, along with autonomous operations

** Up to Tuesday's close, stock has more than doubled this year
