Sovereign Metals Installs Concentrator Plant at Malawi Facility

Sovereign Metals (ASX:SVM) completed the installation of a spiral concentrator plant within its expanded laboratory and testing facility in Malawi, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The plant will be used to test graphite pre-concentrates sourced from the Kasiya rutile-graphite project to support offtake discussions in the traditional graphite and lithium-ion battery markets, the miner said in the filing.

Shares of Sovereign Metals jumped almost 7% at market close on Wednesday.
