Westwater Resources, Hiller Carbon Sign Deal for Graphite Fines Supply

MT Newswires Live09-17

Westwater Resources (WWR) said Tuesday it has agreed to supply graphite fines from its Kellyton plant in Alabama to Hiller Carbon.

Under their offtake agreement, Westwater Resources said Hiller Carbon would purchase annually 100% of Westwater's phase 1 fines production estimated at 14,000 metric tons.

Graphite fines are produced during the CSPG spherodizing process. With the Hiller Carbon deal and the previously disclosed CSPG offtake agreements with Stellantis (STLA) and SK On, Westwater said it has sold 100% of its Kellyton phase 1 production.

Westwater shares were up 2.5% in recent premarket activity.
