CITIC Telecom International, CITIC Units Renew Tenancy Contract

A unit of CITIC Telecom International (HKG:1883) has renewed an agreement to continue leasing certain floors and portions of the Ap Lei Chau building from Tendo, unit of CITIC (HKG:0267), a Tuesday bourse filing said.

The new lease agreement will be valid for three years starting Sept. 20 and expiring Sept. 19, 2027.

The contract includes the option to renew the lease for a further three years after it expires in 2027.

CITIC is a controlling shareholder of CITIC Telecom International.

Shares of telco CITIC Telecom International and Chinese conglomerate CITIC closed nearly 2% and 3% higher, respectively, on Tuesday.
