CGN Power (HKG:1816, SHE:003816) issued the first tranche of mid-term bonds worth 2.4 billion yuan, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The bonds have a 1.99% interest rate and will mature on Sept. 18, 2027.
The company will use the proceeds to repay the maturing super short-term financing debentures of the company as well as the borrowings of the group's units.
The company's stocks were up nearly 3% at Thursday's close.
