Shares of Mingteng International on Wednesday climbed 11% to $5.05 in post-market trading after the company said that it hired a new auditor.

The Chinese automotive mold developer and supplier said that it appointed HTL INTERNATIONAL as its new independent accounting firm to audit and review its financial statements.

The company, which previously worked with Wei, Wei & Co, said it terminated the contract with that firm on Sept. 5. The decision was recommended and approved by the audit committee and board of directors.
