C-MER Medical Holdings' (HKG:3309) chairman, CEO, and an executive director, Lam Shun Chiu Dennis, has bought an additional 1,174,000 shares in the company for a little over HK$2.4 million, a Thursday bourse filing said.
The shares were bought from the market between Sept. 12 and Tuesday, Sept. 17, at an average price of around HK$2.05 apiece.
The shares represent roughly 0.094% of the medical services firm's issued share capital, according to the disclosure.
Following the purchase, Lam, together with C-MER Group, holds approximately 55.1% of the company's issued shares. C-MER Group is the controlling shareholder of the company and is 70% owned by Lam.
Shares of the company closed nearly 2% higher on Thursday.
