Morgan’s universe.  “We believe the homebuilding stocks should continue to benefit from solid fundamentals, including a still favorable demand/supply backdrop, in particular driven by fairly tight supply across the broader housing market,” wrote JPM analyst Michael Rehaut in a note. In addition, he expects solid value growth with strong balance sheets over the next two years for the group. Overweight-rated builders include PulteGroup (PHM), and Toll Brothers (TOL), Meritage Homes (MTH), Smith Douglas Homes (SDHC), and Taylor Morrison Home (TMHC). Analysts also remain less constructive on buildings products due to the repair and remodel activity outlook still constrained. However, there is a likely moderating U.S. macro backdrop this year, Rehaut said. Some overweight-rated stocks are The AZEK Co. (AZEK), Beacon Roofing Supply (BECN), and TopBuild (BLD).
