Correction: Chuan Hup Reports Lower Attributable Profit in Fiscal 2024

Chuan Hup's (SGX:C33) profit attributable to equity holders for the year ended June 30 was down 66% year over year to $2.0 million from $5.8 million, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Monday.

Earnings per share came in at $0.0021 per share from $0.0063 per share in the year-ago period.

Revenue was up 47% year over year to $7.2 million from $4.9 million, driven by an additional rental income of $1.6 million from the student accommodation segment.

The company recommended a final tax-exempt one-tier cash dividend of SG$0.01 per share.

Shares of the property developer were up over 1% in recent trading.
