UK Court Orders Sinohope Technology to Settle Claim

Sinohope Technology Holdings (HKG:1611) received an order from the High Court of England and Wales to deliver up to 43.0717024 Bitcoin or 1,167.093718 Ethereum to a claimant, a Sept. 20 bourse filing said.

The Bitcoin and Ethereum values amount to roughly 1.9 million pounds sterling and 2.5 million pounds sterling, respectively, according to the filing.

The company is the fourth of a number of named and unnamed defendants specified by the claimant. The fourth defendant under the claim was initially Seychelles-registered Huobi Global, with the company taking its place after the claim was amended.

The company is yet to receive any details regarding the claim.

Shares of the energy and electronic products manufacturer closed nearly 4% lower on Monday.
