Renascor Resources (ASX:RNU) collected 730 tonnes of graphite ore from its Siviour graphite deposit in South Australia for its purified spherical graphite demonstration facility, according to a Monday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.
The sample ore is being transported to China for processing into graphite concentrate, with production scheduled for the fourth quarter of the year, the filing said.
The company plans to start plant commissioning in the second quarter of 2025.
