Shares of LG Chem (KRX:051910) jumped more than 5% in recent trade on Tuesday after the company secured a deal to supply cathode active materials to Prime Planet Energy & Solutions, a Toyota Motor (TYO:7203) and Panasonic (TYO:6752) joint venture.
The supply is expected to begin in 2026, LG Chem said in a Monday release.
Shares of Toyota Motor rose nearly 1% while those of Panasonic gained over 1% in recent trade.
