Allete's Unit Plans Two Large Solar Projects in Minnesota

Allete's (ALE) utility division, Minnesota Power, said Monday it plans to construct two solar power plants in Minnesota with a combined capacity of 204.5 megawatts.

Both the 85-MW Boswell and 119.5-MW Regal solar projects are expected to be online in mid-2027, Minnesota Power said.

The projects are part of Minnesota Power's Integrated Resource Plan to build up to 300 MW of regional solar generation.
