Uranium Stocks Rise After Constellation Energy's Three Mile Island Power Supply Deal

Stocks of uranium producers rose after Constellation Energy (CEG) announced plans to restart a unit at the Three Mile Island nuclear plant in Pennsylvania as part of a 20-year deal to supply Microsoft (MSFT) with power for data centers.

Constellation Energy surged 22% in recent trading Friday. Cameco (CCJ) rose 7.2%, NexGen Energy (NXE) climbed 3.9%, Uranium Energy (UEC) gained 2.7% and Energy Fuels (UUUU) advanced 3.6% in recent trading.
