Great Northern Minerals Finds Pegmatite Swarm at Finland Project; Shares Jump 8%

Great Northern Minerals (ASX:GNM) defined a swarm of highly fractionated pegmatite dykes at the Haapaniemi prospect within its Sukula project in Finland, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

A core zonation of the pegmatites presents a drill target with the potential for concealed spodumene zones at depth, the filing said.

The company is exploring methods to advance the prospect towards a drill-ready target, according to the filing.

Shares jumped 8% in midday trade.
