Dynavax Technologies Deep Track Capital filed an initial 13D at the biopharmaceutical firm, a shift to a form made by activist investors from previous disclosures in a passive 13G. In the latest filing, Deep Track Capital reported that it purchased 916,886 Dynavax Technologies shares from Aug. 5 through Sept. 13 at share prices ranging from $10.06 to $10.99 each.
Following the purchases, Deep Track Capital now owns 12,526,486 Dynavax shares, equal to a 9.6% stake. Shares of Dynavax have lost roughly 23% so far this year.
Increases in Holdings
Adecoagro Tether Holdings increased its stake in the agricultural company to 11,846,749 shares. Tether purchased 1,798,500 Adecoagro shares from Sept. 3 through Sept. 11 at prices ranging from $11.02 to $11.42 each. Last month, Tether revealed an initial stake of 10,048,249 Adecoagro shares it purchased from July 29 through Aug. 16 at prices ranging from $9.45 to $11.66 each.
Following the latest purchases, Tether now owns a 11.6% stake in Adecoagro. Shares of Adecoagro have gained about 6% year to date.
Bitdeer Technologies Tether Holdings also raised its stake in the blockchain specialist to 26,713,693 shares. The cryptocurrency company bought one million Bitdeer shares from Sept. 9 through Sept. 12 at prices ranging from $5.70 to $6.53 each after buying another two million shares from Aug. 5 through Aug. 7 at prices ranging from $7.19 to $8.30 each. Tether Holdings acquired its initial stake in Bitdeer by purchasing $150 million worth of stock and warrants at $10 per share on May 31.
Following the purchases, Tether now owns a 25.7% stake in Bitdeer. Shares have lost 21% of their value so far in 2024.
Decreases in Holdings
Janux Therapeutics Avalon Ventures XI reduced its stake in the clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company to 6,622,067 shares. Avalon and its affiliates sold 760,670 Janux Therapeutics shares from Sept. 6 through Sept. 12 at prices ranging from $42 to $48 each.
Following the sales, Avalon continues to own roughly 12.7% of Janux Therapeutics' outstanding stock. Shares of Janux Therapeutics have more than tripled in price so far this year.
Lennar Gamco Investors lowered its stake in the home builder to 32,900,618 shares. Gamco did so through the sale of 66,713 Lennar shares from July 12 through Sept. 12 at prices ranging from $146.89 to $172.30 each, and slightly offset those sales through the purchase of 1,500 Lennar shares priced at $163.81 to $166.25 each from Sept. 5 through Sept. 12.
Following the sales, Gamco Investors continues to own 5.7% of Lennar's outstanding stock. Shares of Lennar have gained about 28% during the year.
