Seelos Therapeutics (SEEL) said late Thursday that its 2024 annual meeting of stockholders scheduled for Sept. 27 has been "postponed."

The postponement is because of an "anticipated lack of quorum, and to provide further time to solicit proxies from the company's stockholders."

Shares slumped 19%, with intraday trading volume at over 1.16 million compared with a daily average of about 498,000.

EnVVeno Medical (NVNO) said late Thursday that it priced a public offering of about 4.3 million common shares or pre-funded warrants at $3.50 per share, targeting gross proceeds of about $15 million.

Shares plunged 25% as intraday trading volume soared to over 1.85 million versus the stock's daily average of about 50,000.

Cassava Sciences (SAVA) shares fell nearly 13% after the company said late Thursday it has agreed to pay a $40 million penalty to settle a US Securities and Exchange Commission case against it over allegedly misleading statements made related to the results of a phase 2 trial for its Alzheimer's disease drug candidate.

More than 4.76 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 3.55 million.
