Suzhou Basecare Medical's Unit to Sell Incubators to Gattaca Genomics

Suzhou Basecare Medical's (HKG:2170) indirect unit Genea Biomedx is expected to sell Gattaca Geri Time-Lapse Incubators, as well as the related consumables and software, to Gattaca Genomics over two years, a Thursday bourse filing said.

Gattaca aims to open around 100 new active sites during these two years, each of which will install one or more incubators.

Geri Time-Lapse Incubator is a wet-type time-lapse incubator that offers a stable osmotic pressure environment for the development of embryos.

Shares of the company closed nearly 17% higher on Friday.
