0917 GMT - Shares of European semiconductor companies are on the rise in morning trading after memory-chip maker Micron Technology posted better-than-expected quarterly results and issued guidance ahead of expectations amid robust demand for artificial intelligence. Shares of Dutch semiconductor-equipment maker ASML Holding and smaller peer ASM International are up more than 4% in Amsterdam. Elsewhere in the continent, shares of Infineon Technologies are up 3%, while Apple supplier STMicroelectronics trades 3.1% higher. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
