Prudential (SGX:K6S, HKG:2378) repurchased 1,687,766 shares in London at an average price of about 6.48 pounds sterling per share on Wednesday, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The filing said that upon cancellation of the purchased shares, the company will have 2,706,003,667 shares in issue.
