The High Court of New Zealand asked Skycity Entertainment Group's (ASX:SKC, NZE:SKC) SkyCity Casino Management to pay NZ$4.2 million in civil penalty for "historic" breaches of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing act, according to a Thursday filing with the New Zealand bourse.
The penalty must be settled within 15 working days.
The casino operator's shares closed nearly 6% higher in New Zealand on Thursday and were up almost 4% in recent trade in Australia.
