The Marygold (MGLD) said Tuesday it raised about $4.4 million in funding as part of a $6.6 million private placement with Streeterville Capital.
The investment is through the sale of a secure promissory note of the company, The Marygold added.
Net proceeds from the private placement will be used to implement next-stage initiatives including marketing of the company's fintech application, according to Marygold.
Shares of the company were up 1.8% in recent after-hours activity.
