China Bright Culture's Substantial Shareholder to Boost Stakeholding, Become Largest Shareholder

China Bright Culture Group's (HKG:1859) substantial shareholder, Eastern Pearl Capital SPC - Eastern Pearl Caelus Fund, is buying an additional 230,236,000 shares in the company from 11 independent shareholders, a Thursday bourse filing said.

The shares represent around 14% of the media company's total issued share capital.

Eastern Pearl Capital currently holds 231,301,933, or a little over 14%, shares in the firm. Following the completion of the purchase, the fund will hold a total of 461,537,933 shares, representing nearly 29% of its issued share capital.

Eastern Pearl Capital will, thus, become the single largest shareholder of the company.
