Venus Concept Shares Rise Pre-Bell After Debt-to-Equity Exchange

Venus Concept (VERO) shares increased more than 2% in Friday's premarket activity after disclosing that on Thursday it exchanged $15.0 million of its debt held by affiliates of Madryn Asset Management for 203,583 shares of preferred stock.

The transaction reduced the company's debt obligations to $34.6 million, down 25% from $46.0 million outstanding as of June 30, 2024, the Canadian aesthetic surgery company said.
