Pacific Textiles Expects Repairs to Typhoon-Hit Vietnam Plant to Take Up to Six Weeks

Pacific Textiles (HKG:1382) expects repairs to its plant in Hai Duong, Vietnam to take four to six weeks due to a shortage of necessary construction materials and unstable weather, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The plant, damaged by Typhoon Yagi in early September, has already resumed a minor level of production utilizing the repaired and undamaged facilities.

The textile manufacturer and trader's shares were up over 3% on Friday's close.
