Zoetis (ZTS) said Thursday it has formed a partnership with Danone for sustainable breeding practices through genetics in dairy farming.
The collaboration will aim to reduce environmental impact of dairy farming through long-term resilience, Zoetis said. The company's genetic testing solutions will help predict if an animal is susceptible to costly diseases and increase its chances to remain healthy and productive over its lifetime.
Zoetis shares were up more than 1% in recent trading.
