ITA Airways reported an increase in earnings and revenue for the first six months of the year as more passengers flew with the Italian flagship carrier.
ITA Airways said it achieved 62 million euros ($69.3 million) in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, an on-year improvement of 130 million euros.
Revenue grew by 300 million euros to 1.4 billion euros, the company said.
The company's load factor, a measure of how full its planes are, came to 79%, a two percentage-point increase.
The carrier flew 8.3 million passengers, 26% more than a year ago.
