ZTE (HKG:0763, SHE:000063) canceled the unexercised 2,402,000 share options from the second exercise period of the reserved grant of share options under the company's 2020 Share Option Incentive Scheme, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
The Shenzhen Branch of China Securities Depository and Clearing confirmed the cancellation.
The partially state-owned telecommunication company's shares closed over 4% higher on Thursday.
