Technology stocks were mixed premarket Tuesday with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 0.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) 0.8% higher recently.
Arqit Quantum (ARQQ) shares fell by more than 16% after the company said late Monday that it is launching a registered direct offering of about 5.4 million of its ordinary shares priced at $2.50 per share for gross proceeds of about $13.6 million.
Meta Platforms (META) will expand artificial intelligence investment in Vietnam, including production of its mixed reality Quest 3S headsets in the country from next year, Reuters reported, citing Nick Clegg, the firm's president for global affairs. Meta Platforms shares were nearly 1% higher pre-bell.
Nextracker (NXT) said it inaugurated its first R&D center in India dedicated to solar tracker technology. Nextracker shares were down 0.5% premarket.
