GoHealth (GOCO) said Tuesday it completed the acquisition of e-TeleQuote Insurance effective Sept. 30, becoming its sole owner.
The company said it entered into an agreement on Aug. 30 to acquire an 18.9% stake in e-TeleQuote. GoHealth said it completed the acquisition by investing $5 million in newly issued shares, while e-TeleQuote's previous owner relinquished its 81.1% stake.
e-TeleQuote has over $18 million in cash and a contract asset valued at over $100 million tied to its Medicare Advantage business, GoHealth said.
