KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, the Dutch arm of Air France-KLM further suspended flights to Israel and said it won't fly to the country until the end of this year.

The company in early August suspended flights to Tel Aviv until Oct. 26.

KLM said it would keep monitoring the situation. Meanwhile, Air France has grounded its flights to both Israel and Lebanon until Oct. 8.

Earlier on Tuesday German carrier Deutsche Lufthansa said it too extended flight suspensions to the region.

The halt on flights came after Israel launched a ground incursion into Lebanon, fueling fears of a wider regional conflict.
