Scholar Education's Trustee Buys Back Shares Under Incentive Scheme

Scholar Education Group's (HKG:1769) trustee recently bought back a total of 440,000 shares from the market for around HK$2.3 million under its share award scheme, a Monday bourse filing stated.

The shares, which represent roughly 0.078% of the firm's issued share capital, were repurchased between Sept. 11 and Sept. 24 for HK$5.20 apiece.

Following the purchase, the trustee holds 16,197,000, or nearly 2.9%, shares in the educational company.
