Children's Place CFO Sheamus Toal to Step Down

Children's Place said Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Sheamus Toal will step down from his role, effective Dec. 13.

The children's clothing company said the decision wasn't the result of any disagreement between Toal and he company concerning operations, policies or practices.

Children's Place added that Toal will receive a separation payment of $2.2 million.

In addition, the company said Laura Lentini, who has more than 30 years of accounting and finance experience, was appointed as Chief Accounting Officer, effective Oct. 7.

Jared Shure, who was previously senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, was also named chief administrative officer, general counsel and corporate secretary, effective Sept. 10.
