Alibaba Group Repurchases Shares Worth $4.1 Billion During Third Quarter

Alibaba Group repurchased 414 million ordinary shares for $4.10 billion in the quarter ended Sept. 30 under the group's share buyback program.

The shares were repurchased in the US and Hong Kong markets, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

As of Sept. 30, the tech giant still had $22 billion to spend under its share repurchase program, valid until March 2027.
