EDU Holdings' (ASX:EDU) higher education business, Ikon Institute, saw its total student enrolments climb 161% to 2,492 in the third intake of the year, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
There were 930 new student enrolments during the period, surpassing a
the previous record of 533 in the second intake this year and surging 363% on the previous corresponding period.
However, the tertiary education group warned that Ikon's 2025 international intake is forecast to decline about 88% on the prior year as a result of the government's new cap on foreign students.
