Kiu Hung International Chairman Resigns, Successor, Vice Chairman Named; Stocks Up 32%

Kiu Hung International Holdings (HKG:0381) said Zhang Qijun ceased to be the chairman of the company to devote more time to other business endeavors, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Yang Ling will succeed Zhang as the new chairman. The company also appointed Li Lizhong as the vice chairman of the board.

All changes are effective Oct. 4.

The toy manufacturer's stock was up by over 32% in recent trading.
