Cooper Energy (ASX:COE) plans to change its company name to Amplitude Energy through a special resolution at its annual general meeting on Nov. 7, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
If approved, the name change will be effective from the date that the Australian Securities and Investments Commission updates its register, the filing stated.
The gas supplier will trade under the ticker symbol "AEL" should the change be approved.
