Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI is leasing its first office in New York City, joining other artificial intelligence companies that have been acquiring space in the Big Apple, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
According to the report, the ChatGPT maker has agreed to rent 90,000 square feet in the Puck Building located in the Soho neighborhood in Manhattan.
OpenAI leased office space in San Francisco in September, the report said.
Microsoft and OpenAI did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
