Phoenix Motor (PEV) nearly tripled amid heavy trading after the company reported, late on Thursday, a swing back into profit following record Q1 net sales.
More than 186 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 469,000.
Beneficient (BENF) said Friday that its subsidiary Beneficient Company Holdings consummated a transaction to convert $126 million of its preferred equity into permanent equity, which will likely reflect on its balance sheet as of Sept. 30.
Shares surged 49% as intraday trading volume soared to over 98.7 million from a daily average of about 2.9 million.
Apogee Enterprises (APOG) fiscal Q2 earnings rose year-over-year, and the company also increased the full-year outlook for its bottom line in results reported Friday.
Shares advanced 25%, with intraday trading volume at 583,000 versus the stock's daily average of about 131,000.
