Trigg Minerals to Update Mineral Resource of New South Wales Deposit; Shares Rally 13%

Trigg Minerals (ASX:TMG) is set to update the mineral resource of the Wild Cattle Creek deposit within its recently acquired Achilles antimony project in New South Wales, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Based on the previous mineral estimate made in 2013, the miner believes that Wild Cattle Creek is the "highest-grade undeveloped antimony project in Australia" containing 15,600 tonnes of antimony, the filing said.

The price of antimony has jumped 150% since the last estimate was made for the deposit.

Shares of Trigg Minerals rallied 13% at market close on Tuesday.
