The French government presented a draft finance bill for 2025 proposing a temporary tax on companies with more than 1 billion euros in revenue, Atlas Arteria (ASX:ALX) confirmed in a Friday filing with the Australian bourse amid media speculations.

The budget bill will be debated in French Parliament in the coming months, with the result expected by December, the filing stated.

The company, which has an interest in two toll roads in France, said the outcome is uncertain in the absence of a majority in Parliament.
