E2open Parent logged a narrower loss in its fiscal second quarter, but cut guidance for the year, citing delays in large deal closures.
The connected supply chain software-as-a-service platform on Wednesday said its loss for the three months ended Aug. 31 narrowed to $29.9 million, or 10 cents a share, from a loss of $34.9 million, or 12 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet had forecast a quarterly loss of 8 cents.
Revenue fell 4% to $152.2 million, coming below Wall Street expectations of $154.8 million. Subscription revenue fell 2.3% in the period.
For fiscal 2025, E2open Parent said it now expects revenue of $607 million to $617 million, down from a prior outlook of $630 million to $645 million. Analysts expect full-year revenue of $632.7 million.
"We remain well positioned to build revenue momentum and close many of the delayed deals as we move through the fiscal year and as we work to complete our ongoing strategic review," Finance Chief Marje Armstrong said.
