China Resources Pharmaceutical Group's (HKG:3320) subsidiary Dong-E-E-Jiao expects to record a profit attributable to its shareholders between 1.10 billion yuan and 1.18 billion yuan for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 40% to 50% higher than 783.7 million yuan logged for the same period last year, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

The company attributed the increase in profit to Dong-E-E-Jiao's consumer-centered approach, integrating marketing with digital placement and adoption of a "dual-wheel drive" growth model.

The pharmaceutical and healthcare products company's shares closed nearly 4% lower on Wednesday.
