Silvercorp Metals Gets 11-Year Renewal of SGX Mine Permit

Silvercorp Metals (SVM) said Tuesday its mining license for SGX Mine was renewed for another 11 years until Sept. 24, 2035.

The renewed license has an increased capacity of 500,000 tonnes per year and covers SGX and HZG silver-lead-zinc mines in the Ying Mining District, China, according to the company.

Silvercorp said the issuance of the license in a paper certificate is subject to the final assessment of government investment in the license location.
