Based on changes in international oil prices, China's domestic gasoline and diesel prices were increased by 140 yuan and 135 yuan per ton, respectively, effective Oct. 11, according to a Press Release by the National Development and Reform Commission on Thursday.

The release said that major petroleum companies like PetroChina (SHA:601857, HKG:0857), Sinopec (SHA: 600028), and CNOOC (HKG: 0883), along with other companies, should ensure the continuous supply of petroleum at the updated prices.
