Titomic to Join DNV Program to Standardize Cold Spray Applications in Energy Sector; Shares Down 7%

Cold spray technology company Titomic (ASX:TTT) said it was invited to join Norway-based DNV's joint industry project, ProGRAM, to standardize cold spray applications for the oil and gas industry, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian Securities Exchange.

The company will partner with DNV to create new standards for the industry, using cold spray technology for parts manufacturing and equipment repair, the filing said. It expects the initiative to help advance the commercialization of its technology within the oil and gas sector.

DNV is a provider of testing, certification, and technical advisory services to the energy and maritime industries.

Titomic shares fell past 7% in morning trade Friday.
