CHN Energy Changyuan Electric Power (SHE:000966) generated 4.72 billion kilowatt-hours of power in September, marking an increase of 74.2% from the previous year.
Thermal power generation rose 91.1% while new energy power output climbed 71.8%, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse. Hydropower generation decreased by 84.0%.
For the January-to-September period, power generation rose 22.1% year over year to 29.79 billion kilowatt-hours.
Shares of the electric services provider rose 3% Thursday.
