Guzman y Gomez (ASX:GYG) said its total network sales revenue rose to AU$278.8 million in the fiscal first quarter ended Sept 30, compared with AU$230.9 million in the first quarter a year ago, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The restaurant franchise grew to 226 stores from 204 stores year-on-year in Australia, Singapore, Japan, and the US, with 31 stores expected to open in Australia, the filing showed.
The company's shares were up almost 1% in recent Thursday trade.
